AStar Design Service technologies has presented their LifeBring packages at Computex 2015. Utilizing Astar’s specialty in ARM, Android and Beacon applications, the LifeBring Kit can act as a smart reminder who tells users what things they forget to bring before they leave homes.
The battery-powered LifeBring kit comprises of one door tag which can be attached to the door, and several small-sized mobile tags which can be hung on the bags, smartphones or purses. Users are able to change the settings, such as sleeping mode or tracking mode, via an APP. The door tag has an embedded speaker which can voice the reminding when events occur.
“We start our exploring in the smart home market with this simple-to-use gadget, because we believe it is the best way for end users to accept a smarter life at this early stage,” says John Fang, Marketing Director of AStar Design Service.
“And we’ve noticed that technologies based on the open structures, such as ARM and Android, have stimulated the expansion of smart applications.” Now the company has developed several smart solutions, including smart digital signage, NAS and other Beacon applications based on these structures.
